I believe the set is an artistic playground; a space that invites curiosity and connection for both the audience and the performers. The stage is a character with its own soul, one that breathes life into a story with every texture, shadow, and carefully painted detail. This perspective deeply influences how I approach design and scenic art. I’m inspired by the challenge of exploring a world which fully immerse audiences in the story, whether it’s through larger-than-life murals or carefully crafted details hidden in plain sight. I’m drawn to new work, especially projects which shine a light on voices and stories that often are overlooked. I also have a strong love for mythology and classical literature and I’m always excited to dive into those timeless stories and find fresh ways to bring them to life.
